Newbie !

Post by WorkingNeedle »

Hi, I'm " The Working Needle at The Dragonfly " on FB. I'm so happy I found this page. I try to stitch everyday. I have Chronic Lyme Disease and find the stitching really helps fill in my days. I counted, I have 14 projects started and I have a pile of things I'm finishing up. Happy to say I have a beautiful room I stitch in thanks to my husband who closed off the porch and built me a screened in room. Happy Stitching XXX

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. Fourteen WIP's? Oh yeah, you'll fit right in here. :-)

I've always found stitching to be therapeutic and relaxing; and I'm glad it's also a way for you to deal with your Lyme disease. And a nice stitching porch? What a wonderful husband.

 Hi and Welcome from me too in sunny and very windy Brisbane. It certainly is great to have you join in all the fun we have on here. You clearly have plenty of stitching to fill your days and isn't it lovely to sit out on a porch - or in my case - an upstairs balcony and stitch the day away.

I'll see if I can load some pictures here. Yes, It really is nice to see others work ! I have a bunch of my work on my FB page you can look at until I learn how to get pictures on here. You can find them at The Working Needle at The Dragonfly on FB. I'll get some put on Photo Bucket and post them here. Today I'm posting some pictures of my very very clean stitching room because my MIL is showing up here tomorrow. I feel like a kid who knows where all her toys are now !! Until then Happy :bandaid: :bandaid: :bandaid: Stitching !!

The bandaids are for use at St Cross Stitchers, our virtual hospital. But of course in the spirit of the CSF, you can use any smillie in any way you please, as long as it's legal, decent and honest! We also have a pub -- the Stash & Grab!
