Thank you for the lovely welcome! I'm at work right now (shhh! lol) so I can't post pictures, but will tonight. I'm very fond of doing cross stitches from photographs and I'm doing a series for my family of their houses. They take a LONG TIME to finish but I love the way they turn out.

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but I just can't figure out what an HAED is? WIP and SAL I figured out, but not HAED. LOL can someone tell me?

They are beautiful, large projects, often with lots of colours, which a lot of the Forum Members are stitching. I find them amazing but haven't got the confidence to tackle one yet.
The others might explain it better.

Even though I'd been stitching for over 20 years before I found the forum, there were so many words/acronyms and expressions I had never ever heard of before since I'd been a lone stitcher. This thread on Glossary Terms was and still is a wonderful resource. I had it bookmarked for a long time but you can always find it in the Tips and Tricks Section.
