I give up!

After restarting twice on the 28 ct even weave, I gave up and switched over to 18 ct aida. I am so much happier!

Good on you! I am about to the very same thing with one of mine that I absolutely love but hate stitching it on the fabric that I chose first. I think whatever makes you happy and allows you to continue on is what you need to do.

It really is your best and only option. If you continue on you will only get frustrated and quit altogether.

I do like stitching on 28 ct but sometimes I feel like switching over to 18ct when the design is so huge! Great decision!!!

I love the look of 28ct but prefer to work on Aida. I used to be a snob about it and refused to use it (Aida) but I got over myself. :whoop:

18 ct is my favorite Aida. Its small but not to the point where you want to tear your hair out!
