The DMC Armchair Organiser

Post by Nicola Main »

I noticed this in one of my cross stitch magazines and in a supplement and was thinking of getting it. It looks really handy and would be perfect for when I visit my boyfriend and take my cross stitches with me! Does anyone have it? Might get it as an early Christmas present  http://www.past-impressions.co.uk/acces ... -organiser" target="_blank

I don't have that one exactly, but I made myself something similar a while ago to hang off the edge of the bookshelf that's next to my bed. Mine was intended to hold TV remotes and my glasses and any other knicks and knacks I want to have handy and I have to say, I'd be lost without it now.

If you're handy with a sewing machine, they're really easy to make - I'd suggest sewing some of that rubbery shelf liner to the backing to help it stay in place though. That way you can also customize it to the size pockets you want.

I have one and it won't stay in place, so it got tucked away. :(
