Karen's Winter Welcome by Joan Elliott--finished Nov. 17

I fell in love with this design when I first saw it 3+ yrs ago and have finally managed to start on it. I started about 2 weeks ago, and here are 2 pictures of the stitching---just have a few more birds to do, a lot more backstitching to do and then decide if I want to do the background and border on it. Here are a couple of pcitures---stitched on 32 ct hand dyed Lugana called Rainbow Dreams

An update on this one---working on the border now and then it will be done---here is how it looks now

It's hard to see but the backstitching around the snow edges is a kreinik #4 braid and adds just a small bit of sparkle to it :)
