I saw your news LastingAllure on Facebook, brilliant stuff :)

I'm having issues with stitching ATM (horror!!!) as my knuckle joint on my Palm of my index finger is really sore on my left hand. I get random pains in most of my joints but they usually only last for a day or so, this has been about 5 now. Grrr.

But I'm using the down time to sort out charts that I might actually stitch from my ever growing stack of cross stitch mags....but so far nit able to throw the rest out!! Humm, I might just have doubled my storage needs!!

I seem to be discovering that my body can make way too much snot, I don't know where it's all coming from but arghhh!! I just want to sit here and stitch and not have to keep stopping to blow my nose!! *whines more*

Hope you feel better soon. This is a very nice place to curl up with a cup of hot tea and honey (my grandma's cure all) or a big bowl of Chicken Soup (her other remedy) and stitch away to your heart's content. Everything is plush and cheery and the care is superbly excellent. Serinde always keeps an eye on things here to make sure that everything is just as it should be, which it always is!

Hot Toddies are a definite benefit for colds. As is :cake: (Feed a cold; starve a fever!) All the linen has been changed so it's all cool and sweet smelling, plus I've topped up the tissue box. Plus -- and you might prefer this -- I have dozens of old and soft gentlemen's hankies for use on sore noses. :bandaid: :bandaid:

I hope you feel better, Serinde.

My pain is still pretty bad. Hoping to see the pain doctor again this week. I tell ya, bone cancer is no fun!

I think I have to quit my bowling league because it just hurts too much. I only bowled a little more than one game last night and had to stop.

My stitchy bug is sort of coming back. Hope to accomplish a lot this week. Need to finish my snowman pillow. Need to find focus so I can work on my Mill Hill beaded Nutcracker.

Hugs to all!

Hope you can finish Mill Hill project. They have lovely beads. Bought some but not used them yet. I like the look of their kits & will try one in due course. Will you put it in the gallery when finished? I can't get in there yet until I add another couple of posts.

DH & me getting over flu/gastric virus. Although not ideal to join a forum & come on talking about illness, I did sit one afternoon browsing through craft forums as I got bored . Had come across this one several times before & decided to join as it looks a lovely place to be. Seems I did right as you are all helpful & friendly :D

 and hope you are feeling better. Just curl up in a comfy bed if you feel like napping or in a overstuffed chair and put your feet up and have some :tea: or make it a hot toddy if you prefer. When a cold or flu is so bad that you check yourself in to our ward, it's time to get some TLC for yourself. I also wish that everyone was healthy. It's good of you to recognize that others have ailments that won't go away, like your cold will eventually, but it is still okay to feel a bit sorry for yourself when you are under the weather. and if you can't stitch it only makes it feel worse.

The stupid cold is making it's rounds I see. What a bummer. Hope you all are getting plenty of rest and are drinking lots of fluids. I find taking some vitamin C helped speed things up when I had my cold a few weeks ago.

Just a tip, I always make sure to wash my hands as soon as I walk in the door after being out in the public. If I have been to the doctors or the hospital I change my clothing too and usually shower right away too to get all the ick off lol. I'm a little OCD about germs but I hate being sick because it takes so much out of me.

Have had some sort of horrible tummy bug over the weekend!
But this cloud has two silver linings.
1. I have lost 5lbs and
2. There are so many problems with noro virus in the hospital I work in I have to be symptom free for two days before I am allowed back to my office so can I stay here and sew for the next two days?

Hope you continue to feel better and take advantage of your employer imposed quarantine to enjoy some leisurely stitching.
