I've seen some lovely kits and patterns lately but these cute little penguins really stood out for me. I love stitching animals and birds in particular (plus I love penguins anyway) so these little guys have to go on my wish list IMMEDIATELY!!!
Those are so cute! I have so many WIPs I shouldn't add anything, but I need a piece of Quebec blue fabric to stitch Brodeuse Bressane's Fleur de Lys blackwork design. I think I have some B5200 to stitch it with. I want to stitch it for my husband, born and raised in Quebec.

But I probably won't buy it because it's only available as a kit and although I normally like that, with this one I'd have to change the color scheme to match the place I want to put it, so the floss would go to waste. I wish I could find a chart but I really do have lots of other stuff to stitch. It is awfully pretty.... Maybe after I finish a few things....
I managed to find the whole kit on Ebay for just a fraction of the RRP price! Now it'll sit and stare at me begging to be stitched but I have a couple more I have to finish before I start on it
I like to think stitching is cheaper than therapy to keep me sane so I splurge once in a while and buy the patterns that speak to me and make me happy
I stitch mainly Mira's, HAEDs, and Joan Elliott's though. Not a huge fan of kits even though there are some really nice ones out there but I more often than not switch out the fabrics and the threads to different things. I have started buying all of the older Mira's I like as they might go out of print eventually and I like to be safe and covet my pretties hehe...

I meant to say earlier "aren't they just the nicest babes!"
I love these little Amish scenes from Diane Graebner. I ordered the autumn one for my mother to stitch and I think it would be a great project for both of us to stitch one from each season. It would suit her decor and would love to stitch a project with her!
Now why did I look at that link to the Squirrels - that is so gorgeous and I think Riolis are a US company so manybe I can get it from a US site where the exchange rate is better than the UK. Mmmmmm
Definitely on the top of my wish list now. - in fact the only one on it!!!
