Hello, Lovely to be here

Post by Lillies »

Hello, my name is Karen, and I'm a sticher-holic :D
I've never been able to have just one piece of work on the go at any one time, I like choice of subject and difficulty, and also size as I stitch all over the house - it's not always practical to take a big frame around with me. I find new kits or charts irresistible, I'm sure there are quite a few in my cupboard shouting 'Me next - start me now'. Temptation .... temptation!
I love to see what people are working on, so as soon as I can, I shall be looking in the gallery and hopefully putting some photos in myself.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all - this seems to be a friendly place to stitch in

 Hi Karen and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! I think you have made a perfect choice in joining us. We are a friendly group of enablers , I mean stitchers who appreciate the need to increase stash when a kit or chart or thread or fabric calls out to be rescued from the store, website that has it captured. We love to share what we are working on and hope that you will post pictures of your projects. What types of projects do you like to stitch?

Thanks for a lovely welcome :whoop:

As you can see from my WIP list I'm doing the Victorian Christmas Eve design by Sandy Littlejohns/Debbie Lester, in the wings waiting are Edwardian Garden Party and Ladies Day at Ascot. But the one I've been trying to get is Age of Steam. They are big projects, but worth it. Today - Success :whoop: :whoop: I've just won a bid on E**y for the three magazines with AofS inside. Now all I need is more hours in the day to stitch - not too much to ask surely??
Happy Dance here LOL
Just wanted to share - cup of tea and back to Christmas.
