1st Quilt Square for Son Finished!!!!

I have made a new start last night. It is just a few stitches since work took over my stitching time. I am sorry that I can not show a picture of the finish, the pattern only came, no finish. This is a Sue Hillis pattern and although I love what her patterns look like finished her graphs are terrible. The symbols are very difficult to read and the backstitching is so difficult to follow because in areas that is goes over the graph lines it can disappear. :tantrum:

Excellent start.

I feel the same way about Nutmeg Co charts. :tantrum: (Although perhaps more recent ones are clearer...)

No your eyes are correct this will be on waste canvas along with 19 others it will eventually be a quilt for my son. :D

Your son will be pleased with his quilt when you have done all the squares. I am sure it will look great going by this so far :D

So this one has finally got a bit of attention. The shop is moved the bills are paid and the invoices have been sent out so I can spend my time on my stitching!!!!!!! FINALLY.........

Here is a picture. Worked until 2 am last night. I lost track of the time.

Oh sorry if I made it sound as if the square was finished it is not. This is probably just under 1/2 finished.

Glad you've managed to find some stitchy time again. I love the design you're stitching. It looks great fun to do :)
