hi everyone!

Post by Sparkle »

Hi all! I've been lurking around for a while. I enjoy seeing everyone's finished projects. :-)
It's good to know that I'm not the only one with a bazillion unfinished projects. Haha
Anyhow, I go by 'Sparkle'... I taught myself to stitch when I was about 12 or so.
Been married for almost 26 years, have 5 wonderful fur babies (cats) and 5 fabulous feathered friends (finches).
Looking forward to fun and helpful interaction!
Cheers! :-)

Hi Sparkle and Welcome from me in hot and steamy Brisbane - so glad you decided t de-lurk and join in the chat and sharing times.

I am mostly a 1 at a time stitcher, although that can go out the door for card motifs or a hardanger break. What sort of designs do you like to stitch??

Hello, and welcome from Texas :) Wow, five cats with five birds, I cannot even fathom that! I have just one cat, and two boys, lol, and that is enough for me :) Hope to see some pictures soon!
So many HAEDs I couldn't possibly list them all. Current favorites are Dragon Kin, Sea Unicorns (QS), April Fairy, What's This, Dahlia, and so many starts going on. Love to cross stitch! Find me on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/brekkana.kultiras

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. Joining in is so much more fun than lurking. What are you working on now? I used to be a one project at a time stitcher, but now I have a few going. I blame the enablers here. :-)

Hello & welcome from a grey day in N. Wales. How lovely to have 5 cats & 5 birds. Most I've had is 3 cats & 2 birds. Only one cat & 2 dogs at the moment. Can't have birds now as they affect my breathing. I do miss canaries & finches singing tho. Loved to hear them.

Hope you enjoy being in this forum as its great, everyone is friendly & helpful. Look forward to seeing your makes :D

 Hi Sparkle and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! It is so good to have a "de-lurker" stop lurking and share with us. I was also a dedicated one at a time stitcher until I joined the forum and learned that I wouldn't be breaking the law if I worked on more than one project. I have learned more in my few years here than in my 25 previous years of stitching. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your stitching!
