I've done some more on the Hamilton/McLaren project.



I'm not sure how much time I'll get for stitching for a while now. Between working in the garden and dealing with a twelve-week old kitten, it's going to be a busy time

She isn't at the moment. There's a lot of hissing and growling going on. To be fair, Frodo is making it worse. He has no fear at all and when Sammie is posturing, he just sits there as if to say "What's your problem?". Or sometimes he just carries on playing and ignores her. He also seems to want to make friends with her so keeps going up to her, which makes her worse

Hopefully Sammie will come around soon.

In between playing with the kitties and working in the garden, I've managed to get the next panel done on the African Sampler.

This is what it all looks like so far.

I wouldn't go so far as to say tolerating, but there's no hissing, spitting or growling now and they are sort of playing together. Problem is that Sammie plays a bit too rough with him but she's getting better so we're hopeful that they'll be fine in a few days.

I have a finish!



I'm chuffed to bits to have finally finished this one. I'll be scouring the charity shops now, looking for a suitable frame for it.

I had my new helper with me for a lot of the time that I spent on the last section.



He's really well behaved for a kitten. He took a couple of swipes at the dangling thread but otherwise, he left it alone, and settled down on my legs and went to sleep.
