Needle Threaders

Post by Leslie »

Hi

Haven't posted for a long while!!!

I have been looking at needle threaders from sew and so, as I am using size 28 needles on my HAED project, and the new batch that I bought I cannot get the two strands through the eyes of the new needles.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using this type of threader on a 28 needle:

I have tried the cheap wire ones but the just fall to bits after a few uses.

Any info on any better needle threaders would be greatly appreciated. :D

I have one like this and it has worked fine with both 26 and 28 needles.

That's the one I use all the time. I'm happy with it. I use it on all size needles, 24 to 28.

That looks quite clever. I hate those silly wire ones! :applesauce:

Agreed Wendy, I seem to be adept at pulling the wire off rather than threading a needle!!

It's the only type I use and I went ahead and bought a few after trying it out once. Now my Mum - a seamstress - is also hooked on them. 8}

This type of threader is the only one that I use - it was given to me ages ago by someone who's mother passed away and I was the only person they knew that did cross stitch.
