It is, indeed! And here are my potential colors - either the white, or the lavender, green, and turquoise...

All in their own way a great combination - perhaps do 3 each?

I think Mabel's suggestion is a great one. Love both sets of colours but as always tend towards the gentler shades.

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
For those who would like to add a bit of extra bling to the SAL, I've just written a FoF post about putting in some additional goldwork materials.
Not that I'm enabling or anything....

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
HURRAY and a HUGE THANK YOU Mabel for posting a picture of it. I have it in my Inbox but with the problems I am having with computers and computer connections I daren't download it. plus when I tried to print a test piece from this silly machine (Asus Notebook) I got "there is no connection" so obviously DS in his haste has misloaded it!
It looks a fabulous design Mabel and I am wondering if I can sketch it and give it a go, Will let you know the results

It is beautiful Mabel and I can't wait to see the next 11! I've stitched Round One already, but I won't post a pick yet as it might ruin it for other participants as it's still a bit early!

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
Downloaded and am in love with it already. And thinking I might have to change my week-end stitching to include one week-end of this SAL. Which means I have to get serious about picking fabric and threads.
One of the wonderful results of this SAL is that it seems to have brought Amanda back for a while! At least monthly, I hope. You have been missed. I have to admit I am not surprised that you have finished Round 1. I am looking forward to seeing it soon.

My copy is printing off right now!!
I'm going to have a look through my stash to see if I can use what I've got.
How exciting and well done Mrs MBK for being hot off the press and getting it done already!!

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
Well Done Amanda. I am about to start mine once I have checked both my forums and the weather and geonet (NZ) for quake activity.
I HAVE BEEN RAK'd Dear MABEL has been a blessed ANGEL and emailed me the chart pack, so I don't have to wait until Wednesday when Daren comes by again to get my chart pack printed off. I can now plus my Notebook into the mains and settle in the kitchen with my fabric, threads and needle and do SAL 1. I am overwhelmed by it. Technology is sometimes so awesome.

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL

After 3 hours of playing with both this computer and my tablet nad the printer I have a print version of the whole download. Phew what a relief. Please don't ask me how as I have no clue but I have started SAL 1. Running out of daylight in this darkish inside home and to sit outside in the evening light is inviting the mosquitoes in for a meal. More stitching tomorrow

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
What a saga, Squirrel!
Well, I've finally decided on my materials: Dresden Blue lugana (25ct), probably Caron Moonglow plus a white of various weights, but can't decide between crystal or white beads. Oh, and silver leather, and if I need bling-y thread, then probably Kreinik opalescent. I have a bit of white 3mm ribbon, but am thinking that something jazzier might be fun... Probably made into separate cards -- perhaps a jump on next Christmas...?

Re: 2016 Round in Circles Hardanger SAL
Here it is finally = it has taken me ages to find my stitchy bug plus find the time between outings with friends to get enough time to finish it. Not quite the contrast in colours I was hoping for but here is January all done.
Thank you Mabel for all your help and wonderful clear instructions.

That's pretty, Sally!
I like those colours...reminds me of orange marmalade....which in the UK is made in January!
(wish we could get the bitter oranges here!)
