 TBear, I find myself already saying it as my wish list is growing all the more bigger  No doubt my xmas list will be trailing on the floor

And thanks for the link Charmagne, Ive just been reading it/viewing the gallery and you guys have some lovely stash HQs heh :) (Ellie looks very cute Alyson :D)

I think I'll start like what you mentioned Alyson, start buying the thread and bobbins and storage for projects as I go, I'll do the same for fabrics, but I already have plenty of charts on my "to do" pile

But some day I'd love a cupboard for my stitching stash  But that won't be happening for a while seeing as I'll be moving out soon to find my own place.. *nervous*

I buy as I go, but halfway through a project I may suddenly find that I NEED to shop in which case I'll just buy whichever colour looks attractive

Oh I never said I wasn't continuously drawn to shops to buy the "next" project. Of course I have enough "next" projects to last four stitchers lifetimes!

I feel that we all should feel less guilty when buying stash for crafty things, be it cross stitching, beading, knitting etc because the items you create last forever :D

I feel more guilty when buying things that don't last that long like hair products, perfume, etc
But never chocolate or cookies, thats another thing that we shouldn't be guilty about buying. :P

And congrats crazycat :D:D

thankyou im really pleased as she is adding 50 threads as well so that will be (scratches head) 156 threads in two weeks(this is all of them apart from my kits) anyone recommend some sort of storage before they get all messy. i admit defeat and say i will be using bobbins not to keen on stitch bows as they just unravel.

From having a look around Id say the best storage for threads would be bobbins and to keep them in those plastic storage boxes. Ive had trouble with the stitch bows myself aswell and it looks so much nicer and neater to see threads on bobbins in a plastic box :D Can't wait to get my own

Once I got the full set I found an antique two drawer thread cabinet that is just perfect for my thread on bobbins. It also looks nicer than the plastic boxes though it took me a long while to find the cabinet.

Angel feels guilty about the ammount of junk food she buys, never about her stash. Angel plans on going to a second hand shop next month and trying to find a large cabinet where I can store everything properly. My shelves are getting too crowded.
