Indian model

Post by dzsuben »

This is a project I wrapped away more than 3 years ago. More than the half is done but still a lot stitches to do.
It's a Lanarte kit called Indian model.
I've decided to finish it in 2016.

This is what I've done so far.

Several problems appeared. First of all it took me several hours to find the pattern. Then I realised that my daughters tried to use my floor stand as a microphone (I'm not sure whether it is the correct world for it in English) and they managed to break it. I don't think it can be repaired.:-( Despite all of these unexpected things finding time for stitching seems to be my biggest problem. :-)

That looks absolutely exquisite. A beautiful picture and done so well.

It would be a shame for it not to het finished. Possibly you could hand hold the roller frame you use - I hold my 600x300mm frame in one hand and stitch with the other.

Regards,

Richard.

:applesauce: :applesauce: That is beautiful!!! I love her eyes. Hadn't thought about using my stand as a microphone (that is the right word), but I might have when I was a child. I hope you will stay around and let us cheer you on to a 2016 finish! I am looking forward to more updates!

She's lovely! :applesauce:

(It shows me where my head is when I saw the name of the thread and opened it thinking it would be about a motorcycle.)
