I just saw this SAL the other day too, and it's definitely calling to me. :) I'm a sucker for cute animal designs.

Don't forget to post pictures of this when you get started. Looks lovely! I can't start another as I already have some SALs I haven't started so I will have to enjoy this one by watching your progress!

Well I caved and bought the threads and some fabric. Now just impatiently waiting for them to be delivered. This should be fun! I have never ventured beyond DMC threads before.

I had to wait 2 weeks for my fabric and threads since one thread was backordered. The postman brought me my goodies yesterday. :whoop: Now I just need my order with the 11 x 17 q snap cover to arrive. Definitely looking forward to starting this one.

I am definitely going to do this one. It is just screaming out to me. January and February are so lovely. Unfortunately though, as you can see from my signature below, I am quickly becoming the Queen of SALs Gone By. I just seem to find out about them too late, and have other things that I've started that have to get done first.

Part of me wants to put the rest of the Flowers of the Month on hold, and place this in my rotation instead, but the other part of me is worried that once I put it off once, I'll never finish it. Plus I've kitted up 3 projects that I was planning on starting this year in addition to finishing the stuff started last year... But, it's so cute...

Then there is the issue of what my husband will do if he realizes that we took a trip to get fabric for the projects I kitted up, and then I ordered fabric online for a different project. A concern I really should not take too lightly :?

Decisions, decisions...

I hear you. I was going to do the CCN Cottage of the month series this year so I bought the first 3 months of patterns only to find this SAL which I like better. I always seem to discover new SAL projects once they have gone along for a bit. In fact once I get this one started I plan on ordering the threads and fabric for a 12 Days of Christmas SAL from last year.

Hmm... The 12 Days of Christmas SAL from the Plum Street Samplers? Yes, that is one of the projects that I have kitted up for this year. I want to make it and hopefully finish it as a pillow for a Christmas gift this year.

I think I am going to try to not have any plans going into December of this year, so maybe I can join and participate in a SAL while it is actually taking place :thinks:
