I started this while on vacation in Louisiana. Since I was there to celebrate my birthday, this just seemed the logical design to start.

I'm doing it on 18 count fiddler's aida and I love the way it looks. This is where I left off before I packed it up last night:

Reminds me of the naïve style of art so praised by art critics. It is a good example of the style & you're stitching it superbly (as usual).

I agree with everyone that it is a lovely design and that you are making great progress! Looks like fun to stitch too, especially since you are are a leap year baby!

I agree; the perfect fabric choice is fiddler's cloth for that. Good progress!

Thanks. I've never used fiddler's aida before but I have to say I'm absolutely loving it! I really enjoy 18 count aida anyway, but this cloth is so soft and fun.

It is a very fun stitch and I really want to pick it up again, but I'm trying (really trying) to concentrate on Tinkerbell.
