Hello,
I am Magdalen
I like cross stitching I find it very therapeutic.
I usually don't even like the things I find on magazines etc, I do them for the fun of doing them and then they go in the drawer :)
I haven't done cross stitching in a while so I'm doing some boring flowers and butterflies off a magazine just to get back into it and get ready for my big project, I want to cross stitch The Starry Night of Vincent Van Gogh and The Scream of Edvard Munch.
I hope to make some good cross stitching while on this forum!

 Hi Magdalen and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Stitching is therapeutic and hopefully you will be able to stitch the designs that you like. Starry Night is one of the favorites around here. We currently have one member stitching Starry Night with Tardis and I think we have also had The Scream stitched, but I can't find it, so I'm not sure.
Neither would be boring to stitch! I hope that you will show us pics of your stitching. Lots of us have finished projects in drawers. I know I do.
I love the process of stitching, but I do agree it is a whole lot more fun when you like the project you are working on.

 Magdalen! Yes cross stitch is very therapeutic and relaxing. I think most of us on here would be lost without it! Enjoy the forum :)

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. I, too, find cross stitching extremely relaxing and a real stress-reliever. I hope you'll share pictures of your work.
