It looks like you are closing in on the finish line any day now. This has gone quite quickly. It definitely takes me back to my childhood. We had a dart board in our basement. With five kids, we were quite competitive at times.

It's a surprise. I was thinking of adding my dad's name at the top and my brother's at the bottom. My dad was a dart player and my brother didn't know this till I told him when he first started playing a couple of years ago. What do you all think of that idea?
My dad played at the British Imperial Club, he was good too. Him and all the other British ex-pats went there every Sat nite to play darts. even when they had dances, they still had the dart boards going.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Looks fantastic and is going to be even better with the braid!

I like the idea of adding your brother's and father's name on the piece, as it makes it even more special and personal. Can't wait to see how it will look with the braid!

Thank you all.
Got my silver braid today, :whoop: Ordered two but one was Blending filament. First mistake ever in an order from 123 stitch. Sent an email, got an immediate reply, another email just now and the other spool of cord is on it's way. And they say not to bother sending the filament back. Great service.
Just finished the backstitch with the #8. Very sore fingers, that is hard to pull through the back stitches. Had to resort to some hemostats to pull the needle through. Couldn't loop the cord through the needle, no way would that go through but because it's so thick, when it moves up to the narrow end of the eye, it doesn't move. Just have to do the names tomorrow then finished. My brother will mount it and he makes his own frames, Does a great job of framing too.

This looks absolute fabulous! You made a good choice on the braiding. It suits the piece perfectly. Thanks for sharing your pictures. This has been so much fun to watch. :D
