Oh that is so beautiful and so tranquil - a fabulous design and you have made a good start on it too :D I can just imagine sitting there with a pot of tea and scones fresh out of the oven. Lovely work.

Oh this is such a nice start, you can already see the picture developing!
Now I wish I had bought some Riolis kits in Russia, if I want one now I'd have to import it which is certainly more expensive.

Thank you all. I did look at this kit for several months before buying it but glad I did. The colours of stitching are very much like those in picture. I think it was called Quiet Place or something similar. But when I started, felt I could almost smell the roses & it looks so tranquil I decided to give it a different name. This is a garden I would like to have if I lived in an old house :D

I buy from Latvia & they are less expensive than other places & come quite quickly too. I have other Riolis kits too - one of red fox in snow & that is pretty. Also a farmyard scene with a donkey & hens. I love donkeys so DH bought it for me.

Threads are soft to the touch - I was surprised how soft they were when I started & they are Anchor. I can use longer lengths as they do not tangle like DMC ones.

Don't want to imply that I have a great mind also, but that is the same thing I thought too! (except I did think of blueberry muffins fresh from the oven with my tea)

Sort of thing I'd love for our garden at home, but it never quite works out.

Good start on a lovely picture.

Thank you very much. I love this as it is just the opposite of Overlook Cafe altho I do love that too because it is so vibrant & full of life :) Have finished window/door, bit of left hand trellis & gone on to roses above the window to make a change of colour. Will go back to greens again after a couple more nights of stitching roses. It is a relaxing picture to stitch :D

It's a gorgeous project. I really love the colours and I get the 'tranquility' feeling, just looking at it. :P
