Hello everyone,
My name is Shannon and I'm from Queensland Australia. I've been cross stitching on and off for 15 years (more off than on). I've been lurking on this board for a couple of years and I have learned so many things from everyone on here, especially parking. I have a couple of questions now but I will post them in another more appropriate place.
I love animals, and have horses, dogs, cats, cockatiels and rats. I also love reading and I have to have a book with me at all times, just in case .
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning all I can about this wonderful pastime.

We are, as you probably already know, always happy when "lurkers" become members so we can get to know you. I hope that you will post pictures of your work. We love pictures! Ask any questions you have. Someone here will either know the answer or have a good idea of where to go to find the answer. What types of projects do you like to stitch?

My husband has the horses, I have the dog, cats and cockatiels.
And there is ALWAYS a book in my car and a small one about birds in my handbag.
Welcome to the forum! This is the greatest place to learn new things. I have learned so much here! And questions are always answered quickly and with great advice.
I love animals as well and have a pigeon, cat, and getting a rat very soon! Not often that I hear of someone who likes rats as pets. Aren't they wonderful!

Mouselady, rats are wonderful, initially I got one because my son wanted one but I fell in love and now I have five! Just be warned you can't stop at one
Squirrel, I live in Roma which is 6hrs drive west of Brisbane. I love trips to Brisbane, so much shopping to be done
