It's a blanket made up of all different squares. I've been enjoying learning the different stitches and there's lots of encouragement and advice on the FB group so I've picked up a few tips too

I've managed a bit more on the Latte stitch but not as much as I'd hoped. The crochet, garden, work and cats are taking up most of my time.

This is where it's up to now.



I love the steam. It's done in three strands so really stands out.

We're getting a new addition to the family soon too. I've been to visit a breeder tonight and was in kitten heaven. We're getting another Maine Coon and this time have chosen a Calico brown tortie. It was a hard decision as all the kittens are gorgeous, but Rosie (staying with the Hobbit theme) is adorable.

Oh dear. Yet more Maine Coon envy coming from this direction.
Kitten looks gorgeous. Our Ozzie brought us a live 'Common Lizard' yesterday. Fortunately he dropped it outside the house...

Stitching is nice too, but I was rather distracted from it.

They do love to bring presents, don't they. Frodo recently discovered the shower mat, which didn't survive the encounter. I found bits of it deposited in my slippers, no doubt a love-gift

Can't wait to see what mischief our Naughty Tortie will get up to.

Try throwing a tinsel ball for Frodo to catch.
Our Ozzie loves his (20 odd...), and can spend 20 minutes or so retrieving them, dropping them at my feet and then dashing after once thrown again. Several times he's kicked the chandelier with his hind paws while catching a ball, despite it being 6ft from the floor. It is just so funny seeing a cat trotting back to you with a ball hanging out of the side of its mouth. This cat here is doing the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ih9BnYFjVA

We have a toy box in the corner of the living room that all the cats root through for their favourite toy.

Sammie loves to play fetch with a toy mouse. Both cats will play football with a foil ball, and will sometimes fetch them back if you roll them the length of the room. Mostly they're into feathers at the moment. Our house looks like an explosion in a bird house

Latte is still ongoing, Precious Dreams seems to be taking a wee rest, and I may be starting something new soon, although I'm not sure what
