I am Lauren, an American cross stitcher about to be 28. I like time with my husband and family, coffee, books, and, of course, cross stitching. My grandmother taught me when I was around 9 years old, and my first project was a small wreath ornament for my mother. I read the chart wrong and made a red wreath with a green bow first, sulked a bit, then stitched right through until I finished it correctly. I tend to do smaller, simpler projects, and I love customizing with color and framing.

I always try to have at least one little WIP - sometimes I need something more portable for traveling.
