What a beautiful scene I'd be quite happy to be sat in a chair admiring the beautiful blooms with a glass of wine... perfect

Wonderful update I'm looking forward to more :applesauce:

Thank you all. Nearly done. It is lovely to stitch this one.

You are all welcome to come for a Dorset cream tea although I do love the Cornish clotted cream best of all. When we moved to Dorset in 1990s we had several visitors & of course, they had to sample a cream tea. We found a small place in Swanage run by two friends. So visitors got a nice ride around the countryside & a cream tea. The place we found was an ordinary house with long wooden benches & tables in the front garden as it was bigger than the small paved area at the back. The back area had Perspex over it so you could eat there if it started to rain. One of the young women lived there & made the scones, The other lady lived nearby & baked cakes early morning, coming to help out once her children were at school. The scones were so high & very light. The added bonus was a friendly tabby cat. He used to sit at the end of the table & either wash himself or curl up & fall asleep. He never attempted to taste the lovely food. Must have known we loved cats as he always came to us each time we went. I put on a lot of weight in the first few months as you can imagine!! :)

Am doing back stitching on Café now & it is bringing it to life. Uncanny I chose 2 eating themed projects to stitch

Beautiful! Since all the chairs are taken, I'll be the one on the floor, drinking wine, tea and eating a scone or two. Definitely with Cornish clotted cream :D

Thank you all for the very kind comments you have made. There are picnic rugs available for those who have missed out on getting a chair. Don't want to get grass stains on your clothes

Have an update on Overlook Café I am going to put up. :)
