Hello,

I decided to join this forum as I have been reading and getting tips here for a while.
I have recently started a big cross stitching project and I would like to share my progress with cross stitching lovers.
I have done little things like greeting cards etc, but this one is going to be something I can hang on the wall hopefully.

I work at a nursing home for the elderly and a lovely lady that I assist is teaching me to cross stitch. She has beautiful ones she has done hung at her bedroom walls and she was very happy to teach me some tips.

I will post in an appropriate thread my progress.

Thanks to this forum I already found some good tips like where to buy the cheapest material and so on.

I think that not only have you been learning cross stitch from the lady you assist, but you have also been giving her a great deal of pleasure by having her share her love of stitching with you.
