Well it's been a really long time since I've been here. I've come back to cross-stitch after a long time away as I need something to help me relax. Sadly my husband Steve passed away in May after a stroke but cross-stitch has been amazing therapy. Hopefully I'll be spending more time on here asking for hints and tips!
Welcome back! It really is good to see you again, though I know how difficult getting through this year can be. I found the forum after my DH passed away. Cross stitching was and has continued to be one of the activities that has seen me through. The forum is another so please spend as much time with us as you need to. Looking forward to seeing your projects.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. It's been very difficult since he passed away as he was only 41 and hadn't been ill at all. Just like that one evening he fell into a coma and one month later, he was gone.
Stitching really soothes me so long may that continue!
I'm glad you're back and that stitching is helping you cope. I hope we, your forum friends, can help as well. I'm so sorry for you loss - so sudden and so young, but I hope you take comfort in the memories of your time together.
