:-D it's more that when I do a lot of one design (or very similar ones) after a while I can do them without looking at the chart much, so they go very quickly.

Number 4. I'm hoping to make at least 8 in total. Last year they were very popular and sold out in the first hour, so as many as possible really!

Funny how the pattern looks so different when the thread colours change.

These will sell so well. :applesauce: :applesauce:

Mabel, these are lovely. May I ask what colour thread you are using for coaster 3?

Serinde, the colour in all the others is Caron Wildflowers but Small Leaf #3 usesCaron Impressions, their silk/wool blend; that particular one is 038 Morning Mist.

Here are two more, with hearts in the corners; like all the others they use Wildflowers. There will be one more in that set but I don't think I'll manage tonight as I need to pack my bag, and make sure I've got everything I need for the workshops (last time I forgot the double-sided tape for the people who finished within the workshop time and wanted to put their card together  )

I'm rather pleased with the way the nutmeg stitches turned out - it took a bit of manipulating, but they came out nicely two-tone

Got some stitching done on the train but not much, so just the one - and it'll be the last one for a bit because I've got a few other things that need putting together before 22nd Oct; after that I'll just try and get as many done as I can :-)

The three coasters with the heart motifs all use nutmeg stitch in the middle, which is worked in two passes; I use the same variegated thread as for the chain stitch and border but fiddle it in such a way that the first pass uses one colour of the variegation, and the second pass uses another :-) so here it's pink and almost-white, in the two previous ones it's brown & green, and green & blue/turquoise.

So clever. That's what I like about variegated threads. Never the same twice, but you can "engineer" the colours.
