I have a finish. He’s still on the stretcher bars but the last stitch has been stitched. This is Wolf by Dimensions. I didn’t totally love this as I stitched it, but I do love it now.

Oh WOW, love the wolf. I didn't realise it would turn out like that. Beautiful So nicely stitched too
I bought the kit several years ago but gave it to church Xmas fayre as I thought, when I saw it up close, I may not be able to do the dark colours. Seeing this there is more brown than I thought but I think it unlikely I would have stitched the dark greys so well as you. Well done on a great finish.
Also to the framers for the other project. Nicely finished in that frame

Both look amazing!! So glad to see that Hobby Lobby does good framing as I hope to have a few that need better framing than I can do! The wolf doesn't look like a "little guy". He looks awesome and regal!

He's not technically a Little Guy by my standards, but I couldn't find a thread for him. I thought I had created one but maybe not. Anyway, it didn't make sense to create one just for a final picture so he is now a member of the Little Guy club. And I don't know why he's on his side. The picture in my Fototime library is right side up. I guess he's just tired.
There are a lot of stitches done with three strands and on 18 count fabric, it's just difficult. I went through two or three needles on this one. The snowflake French knots were supposed to be done with three strands, but I opted for two strands and Colonial Knots instead. Dimensions kits can be a pain to stitch, but the results are always worth it.

Must have been hard to do 3 strands on 18 hpi but worth it for the result. A shame your needles broke though. I have not heard of Colonial knots, will look those up

Colonial Knots are much easier (for me, at least) than French Knots and are just as pretty, and possibly sturdier. I've been doing them for a very long time.

Just found a video on Youtube on how to do colonial knots, Debby, and I will certainly try them the next time they come up in a project. I always struggle with French knots
The frame matches perfectly your Falling leaves sampler.
Your Wolf is magnificent!
You must be really pleased with both.

I probably shouldn't be posting this, but I'm doing it anyway. This is the design I stitched for our autumn exchange. Jo hasn't had a chance yet to post a picture of the finished card, but I wanted to show you all the cute hares. I plan on doing more of them because I think they're so cute, plus they're a fun stitch.
