Hello All
I am new to this forum and I look forward to exploring it and sharing with you all.
My wife calls me Wolfie as I may be a little obsessed with wolves, and that being one thing I like to cross stitch, as well as fantasy style, and geisha's.
I have been doing cross stitch on and off for many years ever since my father introduced me to the craft when I was a wee teen.
I have become more interested in recent years and taking on more challenges. I love to work on detailed cross stitches, my most ambitious project is 32 count kit of a wolf laying down in the snow, approximately 40 x 30cm.
I also have at least another 2/3 smaller kits on the go. Nice portable projects.
I look forward to getting to know you all, best regards.
All the best and Kind Regards,
Wolfie

Re: Hello All
Welcome to the forum Wolfie. It's a good place to learn and expand your range of experience.
I came a few years ago seeking, well, I didn't know what, just felt that there must be more to stitching than 14ct Aida and a maximum of 32 colours. And wow, did I find it... I'm currently on projects with 156 thread colours and using mostly blended colours to get a more even graduation of colours. None of which I could even guess at before I came here. The opportunities to learn are almost limitless.
So, welcome & hope you bide a wee to teach us, as well as see if there is something you might wish to learn.
Regards
Richard.

Re: Hello All
Thank you everyone for your kind welcome.
I look forward to learning some new things and develop my stitching skills.
I look forward to uploading some of my work as I make progress, last night I was working on a dimensions kit of a geisha. Making steady progress on it and will likely finish it in a few weeks.
assuming i dont get distracted.
Once Ive got to grips with how to post some pics, ill upload some of my current work for you all to see.

Not sure im getting this image upload right, any pointers.
Hopefully folk will be able to follow this link to my picture. Current progress on my long term project, 32 count cross stitch of a fantasy wolf with wings laying down in snow.

Re: Hello All
Thank you Squirrel,
The wolf does have a good expression, one my Dog often mimics. I shall have to put some pics of My dog Jake up. I am hoping to do a x-stitch of him at some point
