I am new to the site, in fact it’s the first site I have ever joined a site.
I am here in Bonny Scotland, in a little village just off the east coast. I am nearly in the middle of the distance between Inverness and Aberdeen.
I have only been stitching for 15 years and love doing birth and wedding samplers.
The hardest project I have ever done was for a couple of work colleagues who had got married. I wanted to do something different for them. They both had the same tattoo that the tattoo artist had drawn up for them. I took a photo of the tattoo, converted it to a cross stitch pattern and proceeded to stitch. It was the hardest ever, but I loved every minute of it. I finished it off with the ladies names and the date of their wedding.
I would be grateful for help and advise when I need it, if you ladies and gents would assist me.

Serinde, thank you for having made me smile- for the first time today as it was that classical Monday not to mention the date. Your remark about the East of Scotland seeing some sun really sounded as a great joke. When in 2002 I was travelling from Edinburgh to Perth and then along the lochs to the West and down to Glasgow and Carlisle, the weather was either rain or drizzling, so I did not suspect there was the Sun somewhere there.
