Thank you lovelies, your kind words and ecouragement mean the world to me.

I will be returning to Foxy McFoxFace soon, it's just that I need to replenish my stash of pieces ready to be made into cards.

I finished this one yesterday, this will be the 5th time I've stitched this one, I've begun the Poppy Stained Glass too and I think it will be the 3rd time I've stitched it. I think I need to start writing down what I have given to whom, I simply can't remember and I'm worried thatone of these days I'll end up giving the same design to a person who has had it before.

Anyway here is the Rose.

The thumbnail link still isn't working for me on PI, I hope it's ok to keep posting this size, and the glitch gets sorted out soon.

Hi Maureen! This looks stunning I can see why you have stitched it many times! I like the photos large it means we can see detail better which you wouldn't see if it was smaller. I will definitely be buying these little floral charts from Ebay very soon!

I like the big photo, Maureen :D
Your stitches cover the fabric entirely, such neat stitches! I wish I could stitch so neatly.
My friend writes the name of the person, she is giving the card to, on the side of the chart, in pencil, to keep tab.

Hi Ajay

Firstly congratulations on your forthcoming event, I hope everything goes smoothly.

The charts were a freebie from an old issue of World of Crossstitching. There are 6 stained glass flowers, and the rest are large flower heads and wreaths. There are several available on the UK ebay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... h&_sacat=0" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

I would hope they are on the American version.

Hope this helps

So realistic of an actual stained glass and beautifully stitched as always. It's great when you have a stash of cards to hand as the days keep flying by ever so fast now. A beautiful update Maurren. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

Beautiful! :applesauce: :applesauce: Don't fret about the size. When the thumbnail starts working use it if you prefer, in the meantime we enjoy the details without having to do any extra "clicking".

That's really beautiful -- I love the way the blue 'glass' gives the impression of translucence. I can see exactly why you return to these again and again.

Oh my gosh, it's been a while since I was last here and updated ( I have been unwell but I am on the mend now ) I'll try and catch up to roughly where I am now.

After I had finished the Stained Glass Rose, I stitched a Stained Glass Poppy

Image

then I stitched a Stained Glass Sunflower, but I have decided I don't like the centre
Image

and 5 together, the 6th is of an Hibiscus, but I am not certain I will stitch that one, never having seen one in real life.

Image

They are top left - Orchid, top right - Lily, middle - Sunflower, bottom left - Poppy and bottom right - Rose.
The orchid is already spoken for :)

I have also finished another two bookmarks to replace the ones I've given away, this time I changed the flower to purple and made another tassel too out of the DMC thread as I didn't have a purple tassel.

Image

This morning I have finished Foxy McFoxFace

Image

I'm glad I stuck with this one, I do like the colours being more realistic then the cover photo on the kit.

I'm having trouble deciding which one to stitch next, I've narrowed it down to Two of a Kind, the Meadow or The Lookout (which Nicola recently stitched)

:tizzy: how to decide :tizzy:

Pleased that you are back stitching and on the mend!! :whoop: Good to see you here!

So? what to chose next, eh Maureen....I shall wait and watch with interest! :D :D
