That wool is beautiful, no wonder you couldn't resist a bargain!
It's an American company with a store in Paris Ontario and shipping is from there so I don't have duty and currency exchange to worry about. I have been to the store and it's brilliant. Has everything you need for crafting. Not having a car anymore is a pain but the shipping costs would equal what I would spend on gas.
Thanks Linda! Won't be of much use to me then I believe because of the shipping costs.
Then I only ever crochet Amigurumis and for that I only need "normal" wool nonetheless.
What lovely wool, look forward to seeing it made up
Um, I've been lickle bit naughty - well quite naughty really, bought 3 more kits, 1st two half price third one I have been looking for since saw it last year. After seeing lovely ones here decided to look for cat on got Design Works cat on quilt, up popped Dimensions Provence Market advert which I've been looking at for several months, those 2 half price. 3rd one I just love, another cottage by a stream by Anchor. Saw that over a year ago & decided get it, no more kits for rest of year now.
Dimensions onw will take a very long time but they're usually worth time taken.
Thank you. Love the cat's beautiful green eyes. Colourful quilt for it to sit on.
The cottage is so very close to the steam, would have to ask Richard to make me some flood defences if I lived there wouldn't I? Other than that I like the colours & design of this.
Lovely trio of kits
If you do succumb to more his year, we will pretend not have noticed nor be surprised. We all make these statements and resolutions. .....then along comes the Absolute Bargain or a sale or, a kit you have been lusting after suddenly available and ......You just Have to get it!
Thank you Wendy. I was warned in the Welcome messages that it is often hard to resist buying more stash when seeing what others have bought. I did wonder when I typed those words whether I will be able to live up to them. So many gorgeous stitcheries about.
You have done really well Polly with your new acquisitions. Love the cat one, and like all cats has to supervise the work being done. The Market one is going to be a lot of work but oh so worth it when it is finally done and the old Cottage one is gorgeous. A great set of additions to your stash - now don't try and do them all at once will you.

I'm so happy I got these books! They were a total bargain at 3€ each, and you all know how much I love my wild flower designs, especially ones by Gerda Bengtsson!
Both of the cover pictures are now on my infinite wish list to stitch someday!
Took a painful 2+ hour drive both ways to the needlework shop to spend my bday money and get out of town. I'm still not sure it was worth the stress, gas, etc, but I did splurge anyway. lol

It's a qsnap frame.
It took me forever to find much of anything I really liked, but I do love the trees pattern and the heart needle minder (my first). I really want to start on those trees with some pretty fabric, but I have so much else (like two birth announcements I volunteered for, among other things I've found) that I'm starting to feel overwhelmed and very indecisive. Typical me. lol
