First I thought it was a king (short hair and no veil or hair covering besides the crown) but the mouth was very feminine. Still I guess I'd have to go with the king .

Actually I would not have been able to use that with the images on wall watching me

The biggest problem is now to make a sample pen to fit the furniture to. I designed the pen to be made on a computer controlled (CNC) lathe, as the shape is not easy to make on a manually controlled one. Unfortunately I am very behind on converting the lathe to CNC, so it'll take me a lot longer to make the sample pen. (Delaying the lathe further.)
I have tried to use precious metal clay to make the furniture, but it's slow, inefficient and is not as repeatable as I require. I hope conventional silversmithing techniques will be better.
In theory I know how to do all the techniques on the course. I just have no experience of doing it for real with silver, and it's not a cheap raw material to learn by your mistakes with. I always prefer to learn from other people's mistakes if I can, too.
What a wonderful experience, Mabel! I bet you are still thinking about it.
I hope that your hand is feeling better by now.
Good on you, Richard! It is a excellent decision, in my book.
