I am Evie & have just enrolled. Difficult to think of avatar name but I love cottage gardens & the countryside both of whose colours are always changing, reminding me of my kaleidoscope as a child. Like all creatures big or small as well although rarely stitch any.
While looking through this website I saw others like stitching flowers so thought I would join. As well as enjoying the brightness flowers add to a room, so lifting people's spirits, I am interested in their healing powers along with herbs too. I think if I had lived years ago I would be the herbalist people went to for cures, although they were often thought to be leaning towards witchcraft & lived on the outskirts of villages. I have had several cats over the years, including black ones, but I am definitely not a witch so no broomstick in my garden!
Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi Evie and Welcome from cloudy and cool Brisbane so pleased you have joined us. Flower motifs abound on here and are always uplifting to see them too. Herbs are useful plants to have around ones garden too as so many of them do us a lot of good.
Looking forward to getting to know you and seeing your work in progress.
