White on white is much more impressive than I thought it might be. It really looks very nice. The chart is detailed, and you're doing a good job with it. I like it. But the more important thing is that you do.

Glad your eye is recovering.

Regards,

Richard.

So very close, but my hands gave out. Did 9 needles tonight. More than I have done during this whole project.

How tantalising, and sooooo tempting to go on and do just-that-one-needle-more..... but be sensible with your hands please, the wreath will still be there tomorrow - and it will look gorgeous when you finish it in its own good time :-)

I clicked the picture and saw your wreath in all its glory. It is so beautifully stitched and gorgeous, Linda! I can understand why you want to carry on and on stitching. Your hands need a rest. Finishing is something to look forward to :D

Oh it is so so beautiful and oh so close to a finish, can understand wanting to finish it, but please doo look after your hands, your lovely stitching will still be there when your hands feel better.

I hope the humidity has died down now too, I wonder if humidity effects your hands like it does my arthritis?

Yes, the humidity does affect my arthritis too. And we are getting another bout of humidity. The hurricane is pushing all that hot humid air up north. Another 4 or5 days for us.

...sort of, I think. Do I put an initial ( an "H"), or leave the centre blank? I'm torn..

What do you intend to do with it? My inclination would be to leave it blank -- it is a wreath, after all -- but much depends on its final destination.

Anyway, it's beautiful! :applesauce: :applesauce:

What Serinde said :-)

It's gorgeous as it is, but if it is for a special person/occasion then the initial might just add that certain je ne sais quoi!

I would leave the centre black on this Beautifully stitched wreath!

If you want to put an initial, how about a small one just underneath the 'bow' between the 'ribbon' ends right at the top?

Thats lovely. I think an initial would work very well, but it would probably need to be quite ornate.

I'd be tempted not to unless the font used for the initial is really attractive. It looks splendid as it is.

I agree completely. Beautiful!!! Also about the initial if you want to make it a little more personal, but it truly doesn't need one.
