Mabel - such prety colours in those wools and a cartoon Unicorn? can't wait to see him come to life under your needle.

Karen - that is a fabulous Calendar, the designs and the colours are bound to lift the spirits.

I have just purchased two rolls of fabric from the website Stitcher. Charles Craft white 14 count aida and Charles Craft white 28 count Monaco evenweave. I love this site as they send it in a roll so no crease lines! Have also bought one of the Riolis wreaths (the Spring one with bird cherry) as have always wanted to do these ones but don't know how I'll fit it in with all my Wrendales! And I also bought a lovely book on Ebay which has some beautiful floral designs in it! Looking forward to that arriving!

How useful to get it on a roll! And the designs are lovely. Are Riolis the people whose kits come with wool?

Great stash Nicola, the Riolis wreath is particularly beautiful.

Mabel, your wools sound lovely, cornflower blue is one of my favourite colours.

Nicola, I love that wreath and I just might have to get that book as well someday!

I bought myself a little stitchy Birthday present. :D
I got beautiful wooden thread organizers, one comes with 30, one with 60 holes. They have built-in magnets so you can put a threaded needle as well and it won't fall off even if the organizer is knocked over.
They are not here yet, as they need to find their way from Russia to me but will definitely show them to you once they get here.

Nicola, is it true that Riolis' charts are diffiucult to stitch from and have plenty of confetti stitches?

Hmmm I think it all depends on what kit you get. There are some that look quite difficult but I've just opened the wreath kit to look at the chart and it seems straightforward enough. Lovely clear colour symbols and the key is easy to understand xxx
