Thank you, Ladies! I nearly jumped up when I saw the title of the post with "Podolyanka!" in it. The first thought was :What have I done lately to become subject to a separate thread?
I cant beleieve it is 2 years already, though to be honest, it feels like I have always known you all.
Today is the last Sunday before Lent- Masnytsi- in Ukraine. Regardless of one's attitude to the Lent (personally I dont observe it), every family gathers together and enjoyes pancakes with all sorts of yummies- from cheese to jams. My Daughter has just called me they are waiting for me with a little Everest of pancakes. My poor waist!
Wishing you many many more years of beautiful stitching!!!

It sounds yummy, Lyudmila! You have a thoughtful daughter.
In the UK we had pancakes last Tuesday for Shrove Tuesday. In France, we call it Mardi Gras and we dress up in fancy dress as well as eating pancakes.
Enjoy your treat!
