I can stretch the point to this: you can open your Stashmas gifts at 00.00 GMT on 1 December. This forum is, after all, based in the UK. However, it's much more fun to have a rolling Stashmas across the globe, so I'd still suggest opening your Stashmas at the first opportunity on December 1st.

I wrapped mine too, in Christmassy wrapping paper. Glad to know that I can just open the gift on Stashmas morning - mignight GMT might be 1 am here or so and that's really late..
I'll be happy to see it in the morning.

Oh, Debby, you're right! A tiny cut into the envelope with my scissors told me: yes, you did wrap it. Now it's like a very real gift under the Christmas tree... I mean in my stash basket, right on top, smiling at me. It looks VERY good!

I'm afraid my stashmas packet was just sent in the "Do not bend" envelope some of the items arrived in but I hope the contents will be OK, Debby
But this is my first stashmas, so a steep learning curve....

No one says you have to wrap your Stashmas things! So don't you worry about it. It's just that people get so... curious... that it became clear in some cases that wrapping stopped, well, peeking.

I’ve received some wrapped and some not. To be on the safe side, I just never open the envelope until Stashmas Day. And I’ve also sent wrapped and unwrapped, so it’s all good.

That's why I thought, it's safe to make just a very tiny cut with a scissor - to see if I can detect wrapping paper or not. That way, it wouldn't have spoiled the fun if the gift wasn't wrapped. I'd have seen nothing of what it's actually like. But there was this red Christmassy glow of wrapping paper from inside.
