Whew! Just tidied up a bit, restocked the bar and the marshmallows (who knew so much hot chocolate could be drunk?), the fresh baking is in the tins, and I think I've sliced a zillion lemons and refilled the ice machine in anticipation... :partyhat:

The new stabling for the unicorns (which seem to be multiplying at an astonishing rate, here in the UK anyway) has been completed with extra high roof beams. It's been that wet they asked for shelter, the glasshouse being off limits. The denizens of the Stash & Grab estate have adopted koalas as their Christmas pals this year and are busily working with Celestial Technicians on the best ways to move rain clouds from the UK, which is enjoying a superfluidity, to Oz. Celestial Techs in England are particularly keen on this project, although it's proving slightly more challenging than anticipated. Not unreasonably, the Gulf Stream feels it's doing the job it was employed to do and is having a hard enough time keeping younger sibling, Jet, in order recently, and is threatening to down current and work to rule due to the overtime involved. Consequently, Gulf is not available to deal with his black sheep cousin, Roaring Forties, although he'd dearly like to find out if iceberg calves really are bigger in Antarctica. The aforementioned Celestial Techs are trying to organise a meeting with the Big Fella, who is (as usual) up to his chin in swaddling this time of year. However, the reins have been handed over to the King brothers, Holly and Oak. Although they are absolutely reliable, they are a bit slow. Holly would like to assure everyone that he left for the South before the crack of dawn two days ago. He may be some time...

Well, Serinde! You have been busy! :applesauce:
Getting all those Elements doing what they do best and arranging the Aurora Borealis stupendous Light Show last night was an inspiration!
I noticed that the Puffins had re-located their Burrow to the lee side of the Unicorns' new shed to keep out of the wind.

Let's party party party!! :whoop: :whoop: :mexicanwave: :toast: :toast:

One of my most favorite (since last year when it first came out) is The Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell (a Netflix movie if you have Netflix) which is filled with love, laughter and more laughter and magic. It will be running continuously in the media room for one and all. Lots of buttered popcorn and all the refreshments are of course available. Good when you want to rest from the dancing.

Golly, those Celestial Techs were on the ball with the rain in a bit of Oz today, anyway. Merry Christmas!

YAY! And :whoop: for the celestial techs, that was quick work, now if they could just turn down the predicted heat for the weekend in Aus that would be great.

Phew, I'm worn out from all that dancing and now craving some healthier food - is that a fresh salad bar I see coming through from the kitchens?

I'm glad too see the Koalas are settling in nicely and have been making friends with the puffins already.

I think I saw the Unicorns out for a morning gamble in the mist - they were a majestic sight

Far be it from me to suggest to any of the Elements what their jobs are! My job is simple reportage. But I grant you that it is heartening to see all of them trying to work together and to their strengths in their several capacities. Do you think people can learn from them?
