AWAY

Post by Squirrel »

Dear daughter and I set out very early tomorrow morning for smokey Melbourne to help Eldest son celcbrate his 60th. I will have my tablet with me but how much "me time" might be hard to accommodate. We are back Saturday afternoon to cooler weather here hopefully. Today is mid 30's with high humidity so not at all nice for getting organised.
SIL is staying put to see to the 2 elderly dogs and HM Tuppence which will be an interesting event. Life sure gets interesting around here at times.
I will catch up when I get home again

Now you all be good now..

I am home in body but I am not sure where my mind has gone, I think I left it at the party on Friday night.

I will share about it in a day or so including an increase in the family down there which necessitates more stitching. Thank goodness I ordered 2 different charts of the Sere nity prayer - my grandchildren are mostly young people now and growing up too fast for me to keep up. 1 was for a known engagement, then my Dear Son had an extra birthday present quite late in the evening from his only son.
My needles need to learn to fly me thinks. Any suggestions most welcome.

Welcome Home! Sounds like you had a very busy but very good visit. Looking forward to hearing about it.
My suggestion is to keep doing what you are doing at the pace you are doing now. You don't want to end up hating stitching and the projects will get done and the presents given on time or a little later. Sometimes a little later is best since it doesn't get lost amidst lots of other gifts. The only other option is to stitch small designs.
