I have just come across news of this theft from Au Ver a Soie. It's horrendous. If, in your googling and eBaying, you come across threads that look too good to be true... you know what to do.
And someone will probably post on some FB page or blog or somewhere that there is a big sale going on for these expensive threads and whatever else and so many people will not even think that it is the result of a crime. In general most people wouldn't think that someone would break into a thread factory. Because most people in general would not think how costly certain types of thread can be.
The world gets nuttier on a daily basis. I'm off to the S&G to get a big cup of Irish Coffee with lots of whip cream and a blueberry scone. All are welcome to join me.

The last place I would expect a Heist is in a Thread Factory!
Sadly there are some real opportunists about.
What is worse i think is that the thieves might take a while before trying to pass these items on via Ebay or the like so by the time the threads etc are sold on it will have passed from memory!
I'll join you for that blueberry scone, Carole...but make my coffee Long, Strong and Black.
