OT: podcast

Post by Mabel Figworthy »

In case anyone would like to have a listen, Sue Weekes at Stitchery Stories asked me to be a guest - we talked about stitching heroes, Having A Go, and the time Ruth Goodman inspired me to fail...
And of course lots of other episodes there if you don't fancy this one :-) !

Well, it's quite possible that without Serinde there would have been no MFF!

And this is why it is so important for all of us to pass on our love of stitching to others!

Indeed. Having, like you, been unencumbered by knowledge in this area when I started, it never occurred to me I couldn't do it -- I was young, of course, and had never tried anything I couldn't do, so that helps. I just saw something I wanted to do, and so I did it (sort of, after a fashion, and I'm still fond of it because it is so utterly not perfect)
