The stand is great. Helene, the kit is NOT from Magic Needle, it is from a Moldovan designer Luca-S. Remember my guelder rose which I have stitched 5 times? It is from him. The chart was a pure pleasure to stitch from. Both your presents are wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

I never thought that I would own a Lowery.

And they are very versatile - I use it with my Millennium frame (though that does need a prop on the unclamped side because it is so heavy) as well as hoops. Last night I decided to try it with my enormous 14" hoop and it doesn't even need propping, it works just perfectly!

Lyudmila, thank you for pointing out that the design is by Luca S. What a wonderful designer! I do remember your Guelder Rose, it is stunning.
I just checked the chart of my new kit. It is very large and clear and the Anchor threads are sorted on large bobbins. I am looking forward to start this kit very much.

Mabel, you look so comfortable and happy with your stitching and frame, it is lovely to see Thank you for posting the photo.
The frame feels so easy to use and not as cumbersome as my old wooden one.

I totally agree that it is a waste of stitching time. I mean it will only be dusty and untidy by the end of the day anyway so why bother.

I will! It’s such a joy to be able to tension the full design area instead of each individual motif of a border at a time. I have no idea where all my old frames have gone though
