Our DD1 lives some 300 miles away from us and keeps in touch by phone.
She saw a little bluetit by the side of the road. She picked it up and put it in a box with holes in it and try to feed it cat food ( that what was recommended on the web). The little bluetit did not like the cat food. DD1 went to get some woodlice and that went down well.
The local animal rescue person took the bird of her hands and diagnosed a slight problem with its wing. It apparently was ready to fly off last Sunday.
I could not resist to stitch this little card for DD1
