Starting to get a bit tedious as the pattern is very bitty - there're no big chunks to do so it's looking at the chart all the time and doing lots of odd stitches - looking forward to doing the butterfly & daisys! Hopefully won't be too long before I start on those bits!

It's coming along great Flumpz. Isn't it frustrating when you can't get enough time to stitch all you want to. How about buying a portable daylight lamp to take with you when you visit your Mum?

A great one to get back into xs. I hope you're still loving every moment of it. I know we all are short on time these days, but you'd be suprised how fitting in a few mos of xs just makes the day so much brighter!
Live every moment like it means something, because it does!!! And cross stitch every moment you can steal.lol
Hi Flumpz, it's great this site has rekindled your love of stitching - it's done the same for me! I hadn't stitched since last Christmas and then my friend Stephany, bless her, told me about the forum, so I joined and now I'm addicted, logging on a dozen times a day at work and then rushing home eager to get at my stitching!
I love the kitten project, by the way, so cute. Can't wait to see the next update!

Hi everyone - not been about much lately - we've had a bit of a rough time with my brother-in-law - he's very ill & it's been one complication after another. Last week it wasn't looking too good but he's slowly started making some progress - to be honest it's been an incredibly bad year however prayer & now x-stitch is helping me get through it. I find stitching to be very therepeutic as I find I have to concentrate so my mind doesn't dwell on the bad stuff!
Anyway - here's where I got up to over the weekend - I can see myself finishing this quite soon now but I haven't given too much thought as to which kit I'll do next - think I'll let mum choose when the time comes!
