It's all packed up to go North and I'm working on my smart phone for the time being.
The screen is too small for extended use on the Forum.

The sooner you are back, the better! I do feel, however, that computers ought to be like kettles: last into a box for moving and the first out!

I thought that too, but D/H still has his up and running so I can look over his shoulder for most things....but the Forum is my domain
The other last thing to pack is the vacuum cleaner.
Last in first out...kettle, teapot and the hoover. Oh and the doughnuts!!! I include milk and mugs too of course.

Our sofas are going to a friend and as we have the wretched van it seemed sensible to take them ,and a few other bits and bobs that they want, to them. I rang her this morning and asked if we could borrow back the chair we gave them as we'd be fighting for the remaining one chair.
She said yes...phew!
