What fun the pandas are having in the snow and yes it is a great smile for today. I saw the other video on the news and thought it was so precious. That cub truly loves his handler.

If no one objects I am going to make this a "sticky" thread so its easy to find and I think a great place to be able to come back to, at least until the pandemic has freed so many of us up. Easier to find than in the Quick Daily Posts threads where you have to scroll through to find a "smiley video or photo".

I knew children would come in handy one day - although size-wise we'd probably have to use the grandchild now :-)!

We used to try to get our dear old Albert (my Avatar) out in the snow for some exercise and possibly go to the loo. He was slippery like an eel & we couldn't push him out of the back door, so I tried taking him down the garden and dropping him in the snow, running back to the back door and ... he was always between me & the door however fast I ran back. I got more exercise than he did and eventually gave up on it.

This is not a funny ha-ha smile, but it did bring a smile to my face: I support a "hero rat" who helps find explosives (landmines etc) so the organisation can clear land to make it safe - this month's update said that in 2020 they had cleared 4,389,935 square meters of land in Cambodia which are now safe for people to live and farm on!

What an amazing rat! I never thought I would have praise for a rat, but certainly this one and his/her cohorts deserve praise.
I get a daily newsletter called We Love Cats and Kittens . It has a lot of useful information about felines but also some of the best videos and photos. The one I put the link to is only an example and maybe not the funniest but a few of the photos rang true.

Wendy you get extra goodies in the S & G for coming up with this idea! and for that second video which is one of the reasons that I love South Carolina. Too many of those days back in Chicago. Way too many.

Well that depends on how many times per second that you can raise and lower your eyebrows!
