fccs’s little guys 2024

Post by fccs »

Is this really my first little guy of the year???

As you might recall, I wanted to finish three little guys or motifs (any combo) while I’m in DC dog sitting. Yesterday I finished my first little guy and I’m not sure I’ll get another one done before I leave, but I’ll at least try to make progress.

Anyway, here is Candy Claus from Satsuma Street.

Right? I’m not a big sequin person but I like them here. I’m working on his Mrs now and she also has sequins.

Look what I’m going to start today. My son and DIL got it in Wales for me. They got home last night - ten days in England (2nd or 3rd visit) and Wales (1st visit).

This is where I stopped yesterday.

On a side note, last night we (son, DIL, me) went to a show for the podcast Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. (If you haven’t listened to it, give it a try. It’s really funny.) The guest was Dr. Anthony Fauci. It wasn’t announced until the show started. Just the mention of his name led to a standing ovation. Super fun, and incredibly hot, night.

I’ll be interested to hear if you like it. It’s actually educational as it focuses on current events, in a humorous way.
