Mickey mouse SAL

Well, i though i would i start my first SAL.
The design i am doing is called puppy love and looks like this:

So i started stitching yesterday 21/09/08. I will be updating regularly as i go along.

Oops i forgot to add before i started i wound all the skiens onto bobbins, and gridded the aida, which i have never tried before.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I havent really got too much done since i posted this, as i have been decorating. Getting the room ready for our new arrival, Im hoping to get it all done in the next 6 weeks while on maternity leave!! lol.
I just used a water soluble pen to mark out the grid with.

i must get one of those pens..lol..
i keep telling myself i should grid but usually the things have been easy enough for me to just start at the middle..
but i'll be doing a more complicated one soon and i love the gridding you did!

great first start!
