Small Halloween projects

Post by Krissy »

I took a small break from the stockings when I found these in my stash. It only took me a day or two to do the three of them and I went to JoAnn's to get the floss for my hubby's stockings and a Christmas advent calendar and some other stuff. (I ended up walking out with a total of $83. lol) I found the frame and decided to use it to frame them. I painted the frame and found the candy corn stickers to use on it.

Now I am working on Taby's stocking again. :D

Well done on customising the frame like that -- a wonderful "seasonal" piece :-)

I NEVER worry about stash acquisition. The more stash the merrier.

They are small projects only about 3 inches tall and about 2.5 inches wide. So it didn't take much time at all to do them. The only problem I had was my daughter coming over to look and see how far I've gotten every 5 minutes. She's look at them and say "cute" and then walk away.

Love the finished piece!! I am really a true fan of how you finish your projects in your hand-decorated frames! :D Would love to do that myself but is abit hard to find frames here.. :thinks:

Thanks! I started painting them because I love the decorated frames but I always had a hard time finding one in stores that I liked. So I just started painting them and decorating them myself. If I knew of an online store that sold them I'd give you the URL but I've had no luck finding one.

Maybe there's a space in the market you have just identified?... :thinks:
